University of New Hampshire selects Ex Libris Alma and Primo

OCLC awarded Mellon Foundation grant to register library retention commitments for print serials in WorldCat

South Central Library System selects Bibliovation

LibLime, a Division of PTFS, has been selected by South Central Library System (SCLS) as the winning vendor to implement the Bibliovation Library Services Platform after a lengthy and competitive review of industry LSP's. LibLime responded to SCLS's technical requirements with a comprehensive functional response, on-site demonstration and a compelling cost proposal which has resulted in a contract award. LibLime will provide development, migration and continued support services to SCLS. LibLime and PTFS specialists will work closely with SLCS staff to continue to upgrade their current LibLime system.

EBSCO Information Services announces 2018 EBSCO Solar Grant winners

(June 22, 2018). EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) has announced its three 2018 EBSCO Solar Grant Winners. Red Feather Lakes Community Library in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado; Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia; and the University of the West Indies in Mona, Jamaica, will each receive $100,000 to pay for the installation of a solar array. The grants offset the cost of installing solar panels and allow libraries to reduce their electricity expenditures.

(June 20, 2018). The Library Corporation announced that The Library Network, a coalition of 50 public libraries in Southeast Michigan, has migrated to TLC's CARL.X ILS. The Library Network used SirsiDynix Symphony as their ILS for the past 15 years. However, TLC's success with large library systems—and reputation to treat customers as partners—convinced TLN stakeholders, who unanimously agreed to make TLC their ILS provider for the future.
