The University of Bradford selects Talis Aspire for online reading lists

By improving library workflows with Talis Aspire, they hope to provide an improved experience for students with better access to resources. The University of Bradford is the second university this month to move from their existing system, Rebus:list.

Companies are selected for this award based on a combination of factors including financial health, customer retention, product performance and overall reputation. Yewno was also recognized in 2017 by the Silicon Review as one of the “50 Smartest Companies of the Year”. Both accolades come on the heels of Yewno's winning distinction as “Outsell's 2017 Emerging Company of the Year” by research and advisory firm Outsell, Inc. which focuses on the convergence of data, information and technology.

OCLC and Casalini Libri expand partnership

(May 23, 2018). OCLC and Casalini Libri have signed an agreement to expand their partnership to provide libraries with high quality bibliographic records that improve library users' access to authoritative content. Under terms of the expanded agreement, Casalini Libri will provide bibliographic records for titles from over 4,000 publishers in Europe, in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Greek languages, in addition to Italian. By supplying this data to OCLC, member libraries save time in processing the print and electronic content represented by those records, and can quickly make that content available to their users and researchers.

With teen mental illness on the rise, Gale, a Cengage company, is providing Hanover County Public School Division with Cameron's Collection, a set of eBooks to support teens who are battling with mental health issues, as well as the overall mental health and wellness of the whole child. The collection is accessible online from the division's middle and high schools' library web pages, enabling students and parents to privately access the resources anytime, anywhere and school staff to utilize instructionally to assist students in need.

Karger Publishers adds Remarq

RedLink announced that the independent publisher Karger, based in Basel, Switzerland, is the latest publisher to offer Remarq, a tool for the research and education communities bundling collaboration, annotation, commenting, article sharing, and editorial tools, all on the publisher's site and utilizing the version of record. Remarq is now available as a pilot on three Karger journals Caries Research, Digital Biomarkers, and Folia Phoniatrica et Logopaedica.
